Japan Pop Collectibles primarily ships products from Japan.
Order processing
After your order and payment are confirmed, we inspect the item and prepare it for shipment.
Orders are generally dispatched within 3–6 business days after payment is confirmed.
Large items, items requiring special packaging, holidays, peak seasons, or other circumstances may require additional processing time.
Shipping methods
Available shipping methods and shipping charges are displayed at checkout based on the destination and the size, weight, and characteristics of the order. Where available, each method’s description shows the Japan Post transit estimate, counted from dispatch (not from the order date) and excluding customs clearance time. Estimates are not guaranteed. We ship only to the United States, Canada (excluding Quebec), Australia and New Zealand.
We generally use trackable shipping methods. Shipping is currently provided from Japan using Japan Post services. Economy uses Japan Post International Air Packet and Express uses Japan Post EMS.
Delivery estimates
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Customs processing, carrier delays, weather, natural disasters, peak shipping periods, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause delays.
Customs duties, import taxes, and fees
Canada, Australia, and New Zealand: orders are shipped on a delivered-at-place (DAP) basis. Import duties, taxes (such as GST, HST, or VAT), and customs, postal, or clearance charges that apply in the destination country are not included in the price you pay at checkout. If the destination customs authority or postal operator assesses these charges, the recipient is responsible for paying them after arrival, following the payment instructions provided with the delivery notice and within the stated deadline. Unpaid charges may delay delivery or cause the parcel to be returned.
Canada: If the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) assesses any duty or tax on your postal shipment, you pay the assessed amount, and Canada Post charges a CAD 9.95 handling fee per taxable or dutiable mail item, in addition to the assessed duty or tax. If no duty or tax is assessed, the CAD 9.95 handling fee does not apply. Mail items valued at CAD 20 or less are exempt from duty and tax, so no handling fee applies to them. If several products are packed into one parcel, the fee normally applies once to that parcel; if the order is split into multiple taxable or dutiable parcels, it applies to each parcel.
Australia and New Zealand: the recipient pays any import charges that the destination customs authority or postal operator assesses on arrival. The amounts, and who collects them, are set by the destination country, so they vary by order. We do not collect Australian or New Zealand import charges at checkout.
United States: duties and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout and shown as "Duties" in your order summary, so no additional import payment is normally required when your order is delivered.
For any other destination, unless the checkout explicitly states that duties and taxes are collected with your order, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
The amount of these charges is determined by the destination country's rules and the delivery carrier, and it varies by destination. Please check the import rules for your country before ordering.
Shipping address
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order.
If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible.
Once an order has been shipped, we may be unable to change the delivery address.
If a shipment is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply if the item is sent again.
Undeliverable or refused shipments
If a shipment cannot be delivered, or is returned to us, for a reason caused by the customer, we may deduct our documented, actual, and reasonable costs from any refund. Customer-caused reasons include refusing the shipment, not paying import duties, taxes, or customs, carrier, or clearance charges, not collecting an unclaimed parcel, and an incorrect or incomplete address.
The deduction will never exceed the amount you paid for the order. We do not charge penalties or send separate punitive invoices. Repeated non-payment of import charges or repeated refusal of shipments may lead to restrictions on future orders. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
Tracking
When tracking is available, tracking information will be provided after shipment.
Tracking information may take some time to update after the shipment is accepted by the carrier.
Damaged or lost shipments
If an item arrives damaged, or if you believe there is a shipping problem, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please keep the item, shipping box, packing materials, and shipping label.
We may ask you to provide photographs or other information for a carrier investigation or insurance claim.
Delivery restrictions
We may be unable to ship to certain countries or regions because of legal restrictions, carrier limitations, sanctions, import/export rules, or product-specific restrictions.
Available destinations will be shown during checkout.
